Baker 3D Services provides coordination and sourcing services for additive manufacturing and related fabrication processes. Baker 3D Services may connect customers with independent manufacturing partners for the production of parts based on customer-supplied files.
Customer Responsibility for Files
Customers represent that they own the design files submitted or have the legal right to manufacture the submitted designs. Customers agree not to submit files that infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.
Export Control Compliance
Customers are responsible for complying with all applicable export control laws and regulations, including the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). By submitting files, customers confirm that the designs are not subject to export restrictions unless disclosed and approved in advance.
Engineering and Safety Disclaimer
Parts are manufactured based on customer-supplied designs. Baker 3D Services does not provide engineering certification or safety validation unless explicitly agreed in writing. Customers are responsible for determining whether parts are suitable for their intended application.
Manufacturing Variability
Manufactured parts may vary slightly due to the nature of additive manufacturing processes. Customers acknowledge that dimensional tolerances, surface finish, and material characteristics may vary depending on the selected process and vendor.
Limitation of Liability
Baker 3D Services acts as a coordination service between customers and manufacturing partners. Baker 3D Services shall not be liable for damages arising from the use or performance of manufactured parts.
